As of this weekend – of its fifth anniversary – the iconic MAS museum in Antwerp, has opened the doors to its new permanent exhibitionAntwerpen à la carte. The exhibition addresses the intriguing relationship between the world of food and the city. Besides a historic overview delving into the logistics, consumption, preparation and waste related to food and the city, visitors are also fast-forwarded into the future. By means of a selection of projects clustered under the heading of three speculative future worlds, Pantopicon raises new questions, nurturing a broader debate about the future of food and our cities.
